Habitat Restoration at Edwards Air Force Base, California

Edwards Air Force Base/USACE, Sacramento

Edwards Air Force Base contracted Tetra Tech to restore 400 acres of land on the Base. Four primary areas were selected for habitat restoration efforts including Branch Memorial Park, Avenue B, the OHV2 area and perimeter roads, and roads on the northwest corner of the Base. Currently, habitat restoration is being accomplished at these sites by establishing road barriers, planting Mojave Desert specific inoculants, seeds, trees, shrubs, grasses, and adding vertical mulch.
