EMAGIS links MapInfo Professional with Surfer for Windows as well as Vertical Mapper to show spatial distributions of data. All input parameters in EMAGIS are set to "smart" geostatistical default values, so the user can click OK to create a representative contour plot.

This figure shows an example of EMAGIS' contouring module. The image depicts
a PCE plume at a Superfund site.
The 3-D geostatistics module of EMAGIS creates files compatible with the leading 3-D visualization packages, including AVS/Express, C Tech's EVS: Environmental Visualization System, and Boss International's GMS: Groundwater Modeling System.

This figure on the left shows the 3-D hydraulic conductivity distribution and basement bedrock at a Superfund site as viewed with AVS/Express. On the right is a historical view of the Stringfellow Acid Pits Superfund Site as it looked in 1980. It was created from a Vertical Mapper grid and rendered in AVS/Express via the EMAGIS texture mesh wizard which seamlessly integrates VM with AVS.
The contaminant correlation analysis module of EMAGIS provides the user with the ability to prepare data for multiple contaminant correlations, make pie charts and chemical fingerprints showing the magnitude and composition of contaminants on a well by well basis, and create scatterplots showing the relationship between contaminants throughout the site.

This figure shows Stiff diagrams depicting a landfill's impact on groundwater quality. Notice the signature of the wells in the landfill differ from those of upgradient and downgradient wells.

This figure shows a cross-section at an underground storage tank site that has TCE-contaminated soil and groundwater.
